Thompson Coburn’s newest health care attorney has a long history with the firm. Thad Leach was a summer associate with Thompson Coburn-predecessor Thompson & Mitchell in 1993 and started as a new associate in 1994, where he stayed until 1998.
Thad recently completed a decade-long role as leader of a family office and private equity group that he had previously represented as a partner at Lewis Rice, but during that time he remained a friend and even a client of Thompson Coburn.
With the conclusion of his assignment in business, Thad returns to Thompson Coburn as a seasoned and skilled negotiator, adviser and strategist.
Thad said he is thrilled to come back to his roots at Thompson Coburn to work in the health care group.
Though some of the names and faces have changed, Thad says that he is delighted to reconnect with old friends, and the firm remains as he remembered it: warm, collegial, professional, and “the best in town.”
Thad received his B.S. in political science from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and his law degree from Tulane University Law School.
