fostering. supporting. enhancing. promoting. influencing. improving.

TC’s affinity groups provide spaces for lawyers who share a common background or identity. We take meaningful steps to promote cultural competency and raise awareness about different cultures, identities and issues affecting underrepresented groups. All professionals, including paralegals and staff members, have opportunities to be involved.

“Our mentoring programs have made a major impact on our personal and professional development. As professional women, it’s critical to work together and provide a support system for others as we build successful careers in law.”

Emily Wang Murphy, Partner

“Joining Thompson Coburn accelerated my journey as an attorney, leader and business developer. This is a fantastic place for a diverse attorney to thrive and take their career to the next level.”

why we’re committed to our affinity groups

All groups are pipeline builders, and each group contributes to Thompson Coburn’s success. We focus on recruiting and retention, formal and informal training and mentoring, employee networking, professional development, creating a positive and supportive workplace, and being the standard bearers of TC’s commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging.
