Thompson Coburn Builds Out Business Litigation, White Collar Practices with Addition of Former Federal Prosecutor as Dallas Partner

Thompson Coburn announced today the addition of lateral partner Errin Martin in its Dallas office. Martin, a former Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Texas, has joined the firm as part of the Business Litigation and White Collar Defense and Investigations practice groups.

“Errin’s background as a former federal prosecutor will be an invaluable asset within our White Collar practice,” said firm Chair Chris Hohn. “We’re excited to be having her join our office in Dallas, which is an important growth market for the firm.”

Martin has extensive experience in matters related to cybersecurity, money laundering, asset forfeiture litigation and overarching national security considerations. Having spent 17 years as an Assistant U.S. Attorney, including seven years as the chief of the National Security – Cyber section in the Northern District of Texas, she is well-versed in navigating government investigations and related compliance matters.

“I look forward to putting my experience in government investigations to work for Thompson Coburn’s national client base,” Martin said. “Pairing the connections and knowledge I developed during my time as a federal prosecutor with the very strong talent on this team should be a winning combination.”

She earned her J.D. degree from Texas Tech University School of Law and her Bachelor of Arts degree from Texas Tech University.
