Thompson Coburn is pleased to announce the addition of Kimberly Bero Rennick to the firm’s leadership team in the role of Chief Business Development & Marketing Officer (CBDMO).
Based in Washington, D.C., Rennick will lead a team of business professionals nationwide to drive Thompson Coburn’s marketing and business development strategies, working with partners and leadership to align client service and growth with the firm’s strategic plan. She will be instrumental in developing growth opportunities, raising the firm’s visibility and strengthening client relationships.

Over the course of her career, Rennick has worked in every facet of the legal industry, including as a practicing litigator in a large law firm, a consultant and legal technology sales executive to the AmLaw 100, and in business development and marketing roles in the AmLaw 100. She is a pioneer in the development of predictive analytics and big data to drive client growth, and she strives to apply technology and analysis in ways that will drive value. Rennick’s deep understanding of law firm strategic planning, brand strategy and project management enable her to identify long- and short-term business development goals and serve as a key leader within the firm.

Rennick’s previous executive leadership experience has included roles at multiple firms including Shook, Hardy & Bacon; A&O Shearman; and Covington & Burling LLP. She holds a M.S. degree in Law Firm Management from George Washington University and a J.D. degree from Notre Dame. She earned her B.A. degree from Saint Mary’s College.
