Thompson Coburn Marketing Specialist, David Meyer, is an honoree in the 2023 Unsung Legal Hero Awards, presented by Missouri Lawyers Weekly. The statewide awards honor the “behind the scenes” professionals who play a key role in the success of a law firm.
The Unsung Legal Heroes awards are featured in the July 13 edition of Missouri Lawyers Weekly, and honor eight different categories of law firm professionals, from paralegals to law librarians to IT professionals.
David, who also serves on the Legal Marketing Association local steering committee, joined Thompson Coburn in 2016 as a Marketing Coordinator. In his current position, he works closely with attorneys across all seven of the Firm’s offices while also liaising with a variety of administrative departments. David is involved in a variety of marketing functions including email marketing, webinar production, CRM, and survey responses. His deep knowledge of legal marketing operations and perpetual enthusiasm for new challenges has made David an integral member of Thompson Coburn.
Below is the Q&A with David that appears in Missouri Lawyers Weekly:
Tell us about your key accomplishment(s) in this role.
I identified areas where repetitive tasks could be automated using technology and developed efficient workflows. By automating these processes and documenting them for others, I have saved considerable time for my department, allowing us to allocate more resources to business development and strategic marketing initiatives.
What is the best part of your job?
The dynamic and ever-changing nature of each day. No two days are alike, and this constant variation keeps me engaged and excited.
