Thompson Coburn Trio Named Influential Lawyers in Missouri

Three partners from Thompson Coburn's litigation practice – David Coffman, Booker Shaw, and Ben Harner – have been recognized as Influential Lawyers by Missouri Lawyers Media. This honor is part of the annual Missouri Lawyers Awards, which celebrate the contributions of top legal minds in the state.
The Missouri Lawyers Awards acknowledge lawyers who have made a significant impact over the past year. These include winners of major verdicts, influential advocates and champions in the courtroom, law firm leaders, and the Lawyer of the Year title.
The three recognized attorneys recently played a key role in securing a successful appeal for tool manufacturer Stanley Fastening Systems. The appeals court sided with Stanley, ruling that the trial court erred by not granting a mistrial in the product liability case. Stanley argued that opposing counsel violated a court order by referencing the company's financial status during the trial. This case and their vital contribution were featured in a Law.com article.
