Caroline is a litigator resolving complex business and commercial litigation matters.
A highly versatile attorney, Caroline advises a widely diverse group of clients in disputes involving multiple parties, sophisticated issues, and often emotionally charged matters. She represents family-owned businesses, for-profit corporations, non-profit organizations, and individuals. She is called upon to handle virtually any case, such as general business disagreements, breach of contract, employment issues, business torts, fraud claims, trust and probate matters, real estate, and construction disputes. Caroline handles all phases of litigation, including writing and arguing motions, written and oral discovery, and appeals.
Caroline is known for her ability to organize and run large cases comprised of many components while providing clients with attentive counsel that guides important decision making. She distills cases down to the critical details and conducts negotiations to reach settlements that benefit her clients. Should a matter go to trial, Caroline strongly advocates for her clients in state and federal courts.
Prior to joining Thompson Coburn, Caroline was an associate with a civil defense firm, a role that established an excellent foundation for her current work resolving intricate legal matters.
