Chad represents clients in a variety of real estate transactions. Chad assists companies with the purchase, sale and leasing of real estate.
He has particular experience in title examination and the resolution of title issues. Earlier in his career, Chad advised coal, oil, and natural gas companies on issues related to the acquisition, ownership, and development of mineral interests. In that role, Chad prepared mineral title opinions, which required him to review and analyze all instruments affecting title, identify any actual or potential title defects, and determine mineral ownership.
Prior to Thompson Coburn, Chad served as an associate and contract attorney with firms in Indiana and Kentucky, representing clients in all phases of real estate transactions.
Chad earned his J.D. from Vanderbilt University, where he served as a managing editor of the law school's Journal of Entertainment and Technology Law.
