Clayton is an associate in the Firm's tax and public finance practice groups.
He earned his law degree from the University of Missouri with a concentration in Tax Law. While in law school, Clayton served as a Lead Articles Editor for the Missouri Law Review and interned with the Missouri Department of Revenue General Counsel's Office, where he conducted extensive tax and bankruptcy research and assisted in responding to tax protests.
Before law school, Clayton worked to build a strong technical accounting background. He completed the University of Missouri's integrated Bachelor of Science in accounting and Master of Accountancy degree program, interned at a public accounting firm in St. Louis, and passed the Uniform CPA Exam.
