Emily Berttucci leads Thompson Coburn's legal talent team, driving smart growth that allows the firm to better serve clients' evolving needs, with a keen focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion. With a rich background that includes working as a practicing attorney, she drives firm initiatives aimed at attracting and retaining the best and brightest lawyers in the industry.
An experienced recruiting professional, Emily brings strategic guidance to the firm's legal talent efforts, leading the attorney recruiting staff in the design of creative approaches to evaluate, enhance, and source high-quality lateral and associate candidates who reflect Thompson Coburn's values-driven culture.
Emily works closely with the firm's executive committee, practice group leaders, office managing partners, and other leaders and stakeholders to ensure that recruiting initiatives align with Thompson Coburn's overall business strategy.
Prior to joining Thompson Coburn, Emily was at Clark Hill, where she was responsible for attorney and paralegal recruitment efforts across all practice groups and for all offices.
Emily earned her J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law and started her legal career as an associate attorney in New York.
