As a licensed Certified Public Accountant ("CPA"), former corporate governance executive, and former internal and external auditor, Hope has a deep understanding of the complex issues companies and individuals face in corporate and securities matters. Hope draws on her first-hand experiences in business and corporate governance to assist clients with a full range of transactional matters.

She specializes in corporate and securities matters, corporate governance and compliance, and mergers and acquisitions, where she leverages her extensive knowledge of financial statements, SEC compliance, and the financial considerations and consequences of various business transactions.

Hope is also licensed as a CPA in Missouri and prior to law school, spent over a decade working in the areas of audit and corporate governance. She started her career at a Big Four accounting firm, where she planned, staffed, and led integrated audits of financial statements and internal controls for SEC registrants and privately held companies, in addition to reviewing SEC filings and financial statements for compliance with SEC and US GAAP requirements. Hope also worked in internal audit at a publicly-traded manufacturing company and a Fortune 100 telecommunications company where she led a variety of Sarbanes-Oxley ("SOX"), financial, and operational audits, in addition to advisory reviews and fraud investigations. Immediately prior to law school, Hope was the executive of a corporate governance function for a Fortune 20, publicly-traded pharmacy benefits manager where, among other responsibilities, she oversaw the company's SOX compliance, served as a trusted advisor to leadership regarding critical internal control matters and process improvements, and as a member of the finance integration planning team for a $54B acquisition. Hope has been praised for her ability to provide concise and digestible explanations of complex issues and processes, and practical, tailored, advice that considered unique circumstances.

Hope graduated magna cum laude from St. Louis University School of Law, prior to which she earned a B.S. from St. Louis University's John Cook School of Business. During law school, Hope served as a rule 13 student attorney in the St. Louis University School of Law Entrepreneurship and Community Development transactional clinic, where she performed legal services and provided advice to non-profit organizations and small businesses related to entity formation, tax exemptions, and governance. She also worked as a corporate legal intern for a publicly-traded reinsurer where she reviewed commercial contracts and drafted certain SEC filings. In recognition of her exceptional academic achievement, Hope was elected to the Woolsack Honor Society, and Alpha Sigma Nu Jesuit Honor Society, in addition to receiving nine Academic Excellence Awards for achieving the highest grade in certain classes. She was also a recipient of the Grant A. Korkoyan, Jr. Family Student Award in recognition of being an exceptional law student with a sincere interest in business transactional law.
