Janki is an associate in the Firm's business litigation practice where she represents clients in state and federal courts and in arbitrations in various complex matters, including shareholder disputes, class actions, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty and fraud.
Janki advocates for clients by drafting motions, briefs, and memoranda. Additionally, she analyzes complex documents and researches legal issues that develop trial strategy. She also manages all aspects of discovery, including written discovery, assisting with depositions, and managing document production and review. In addition, she works directly with a variety of individual and corporate clients to develop case strategy and negotiate favorable settlements.
Janki graduated magna cum laude from the University of Illinois College of Law. During law school, she interned at the Champaign County State's Attorney's Office and represented the office in state proceedings, and was a member of the Veteran's Legal Clinic in which she represented clients at state proceedings.
