Julie Hellmich’s representation spans a broad spectrum of industries, including information technology and manufacturing. Her client roster encompasses public and private companies across all stages of development, from emerging ventures to their financial backers.
With experience in all aspects of M&A transactions, including the acquisition and disposition of stock and assets, Julie leads M&A due diligence and drafts and negotiates definitive purchase and ancillary agreements. She also represents issuers and institutional investors in private offerings of debt and equity securities and leads initial and late-stage equity financing rounds.
Julie also acts as legal advisor to pension plans and institutional investors with over $75 billion in assets in all manners of private equity, venture capital, real estate, and hedge fund investments. She reviews and negotiates more than 50 funds each year, using Thompson Coburn’s deep knowledge of industry trends to identify issues and negotiate solutions.
In her regulatory work, Julie assists clients with continuing reporting requirements under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and counsels investment advisory firms on federal and state securities laws.
