Steve Garlock is a seasoned partner in the firm's IP department with a strong foundation in business litigation and product liability. Steve assists clients with intellectual property disputes and has extensive experience litigating intellectual property cases, including utility and design patent infringement, trademark and counterfeiting matters for well-known brands.

In recent years he has handled significant trade secret litigation matters, including successfully trying and retrying a high-profile case. His experience extends into various industries, with a particular emphasis on manufacturing, including the pet and automotive sectors.

Steve has also served as outside general counsel for several clients, providing comprehensive legal advice on intellectual property and business litigation matters. Steve understands that while clients often prefer to avoid litigation, having a strong advocate who is prepared to go to trial is essential. His dedication to building personal relationships with his clients has fostered long-lasting partnerships.
