Steve Schwartz’s commercial finance practice focuses on debt financing transactions.

He represents and advises lenders and borrowers in transactions including ABL facilities, restructurings and workouts, structured finance transactions, and direct lending financings, with a special focus on venture debt financings. He also has experience in sports franchise financing, NAV financing, insurance premium financing, and warehouse lending.

Before joining Thompson Coburn, Steve served as a bankruptcy court law clerk in the Southern District of New York, Northern District of Illinois, and District of Delaware. He also gained experience in the financial restructuring and insolvency groups of international law firms, as well as in the finance group of a California law firm.
