Tom Schlafly is a fixture in the St. Louis region’s business, civic, and charitable communities and represents non-profit and charitable organizations in a range of legal matters.
Tom serves on The Franklin Templeton Equity Board, which oversees over 60 mutual funds with combined assets of over $80 billion, and on the Board of Directors of CNB St. Louis Bank.
Tom is also the co-founder and chairman of The Saint Louis Brewery, LLC, brewer of more than 70 award-winning Schlafly Beer varieties since 1991. He is also a minority owner of the St. Louis Blues professional hockey team.
Tom is a trustee of the Saint Louis Art Museum and a member of the Board of Directors of the St. Louis Public Library, having served under six mayors of the city, starting in 1984. He serves on the Board of Regents of Georgetown University and the Boards of Directors of The St. Louis Shakespeare Festival and Haiti Health Promise, which oversees a hospital in Milot, Haiti. In 2022, he became the first male chairman of a committee of The Garden Club of America since the organization’s founding in 1913. He is the former chair of The St. Louis Chapter of The Explorers Club and the president of The Gateway Center of Metropolitan St. Louis.
