This presentation will provide an overview and status of the Federal Trade Commission’s proposed non-compete ban, as well as recent federal and state activity on restrictive covenants, including proposed federal legislation, the NLRB’s position on employment non-competes, and new and proposed State legislation banning and restricting employment non-competes. We will also discuss challenges for employers as a result of these developments and best practices to address the same.
