Thompson Coburn again earned a perfect score of 100 points in the Human Rights Campaign’s 2013 Corporate Equality Index and Best Places to Work Survey. The survey is conducted by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation, which evaluated 889 businesses across the country on their treatment of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender employees, consumers/clients, and investors.
Thompson Coburn was one of just 55 law firms nationwide that earned a perfect score this year.
The Best Places to Work Survey rates organizations on a 1-100 scale and examines the degree to which companies protect employees from employment discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity. It also evaluates how well they implement effective policies on diversity and inclusion, training, health care and domestic partnership benefits. This year’s survey marks the first time a majority of Fortune 500 companies protect on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity.
Thompson Coburn's score of 100 in the survey underscores our firm’s commitment to a diverse and inclusive culture.
