In her nationwide leasing practice, Jennifer has drafted and negotiated numerous leases for landlords, tenants and subtenants. She has experience with all types of leases, including office, retail, warehouse, agricultural and ground leasing. Jennifer is among a select group of attorneys with significant knowledge of commercial ground leases and other types of leasehold financings. Jennifer also has significant experience helping companies manage all aspects of their property portfolios, including purchase and sales, leasing, easements, financing, litigation, condemnation, zoning and related areas. She works collaboratively with each company's team and ensures all issues are addressed correctly and efficiently.
In her general purchase and sale practice, Jennifer advises all types of clients on real estate transactions ranging from $1 million purchases to a $50 million+ transaction involving properties spread across 30 states. She has also advised both banks and borrowers in connection with financing such transactions.
Jennifer has represented banks and borrowers in connection with ground lease financing issues.
She has represented a regional retailer that has ground leased over 10 locations across the Midwest.
Jennifer has also represented both landlords and tenants in the drafting, review and negotiation of numerous leases covering all types of space across the country.
Jennifer has extensive experience representing both sellers and buyers in the purchase and sale of multi-family apartment units.
She has participated in the purchase or sale of over 20 apartment buildings or complexes ranging from five to more than 200 units each.
Jennifer has handled over 50 surplus property dispositions for a fast food restaurant chain across 25 states.
She has represented both franchise and non-franchise restaurant owners in the negotiation of leases and subleases covering shopping centers, office towers and standalone buildings.
