This advanced-level webinar will focus on the new 2017 GE Disclosure Template that all institutions with gainful employment programs must start distributing by April 3, 2017. The webinar will review the content of the disclosures, as well as the new distribution requirements that go into effect on that date. Our presenter, Aaron Lacey, will examine the new student warnings that schools with failing gainful employment programs were to begin making to current and prospective students on February 8, 2017.
Aaron will also review not only the required elements of the warnings, but also the complex distribution requirements that govern their disclosure. Finally, this webinar will include a discussion regarding any challenges to the gainful employment rule that may be in play as of the date of this webinar presentation, to include suspension orders, rule making and lawsuits.
The live presentation of this program was approved for 1.5 hour general CLE credit in California and Illinois, and 1.8 general CLE credit in Missouri. CLE credit is no longer available for this recording.
