Amber is a member of the Tort Practice Group and focuses on complex legal issues related to toxic tort, asbestos, the railroad industry and Federal Employers' Liability Act claims.
She brings a wealth of experience and insight gained from her time as a student attorney with the Federal Civil Rights Clinic at the University of Illinois. During her time with the clinic, Amber gained valuable litigation experience representing incarcerated clients in 42 U.S.C. Section 1983 cases. She represented clients in all phases of litigation culminating in two jury trials.
Amber earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin – Stout, and her Juris Doctor from the University of Illinois College of Law. Prior to law school, Amber was a software engineer with Thomson Reuters helping to develop WestlawNext. While in law school she was a member of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity and competed in the 2022 annual P.A.D. Law School Mock Trial Competition. Her final semester of law school, she gained valuable litigation experience at her externship with the Missouri State Public Defender Office in Clayton, Missouri.
