Rachel is an associate in the labor and employment practice group, representing employers in a range of workplace issues and disputes.
Before joining Thompson Coburn, Rachel served as a litigation attorney at a St. Louis law firm where she managed cases related to insurance defense in the areas of employment, medical malpractice, and transportation. She researched and drafted substantive motions and memoranda, answers, mediation position statements, case evaluations, and settlement agreements. She regularly appeared in state and federal court on behalf of her clients, arguing substantive motions. She also previously served as a judicial extern to the Hon. Michael R. Barrett in the United States District Court of the Southern District of Ohio.
Rachel received her juris doctor from the University of Cincinnati College of Law and her bachelor's degree, summa cum laude, from McKendree University, where she double majored in Human Resource Management and Marketing and was a member of the Women's Soccer Team.
