As a paralegal in the firm's business immigration practice, Doris manages a variety of visa applications and work authorizations for the firm's clients.
Working with a number of corporations and individuals, Doris is experienced in preparing both immigrant and non-immigrant petitions, obtaining temporary H-1B and L-1 work authorizations for foreign national employees, and helping companies sponsor employees to become lawful permanent residents (green cards). Having worked in the labor & employment arena for years, she is familiar with this highly-regulated process, from initial filing to acquiring an extension. Furthermore, in addition to supporting the needs of our clients' employees, Doris has assisted with filing applications and obtaining work authorizations for employees' dependent family members.
