Lee is a dedicated strategic advisor with deep experience in healthcare regulatory compliance. She has practiced law for over 30 years with more than 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Lee is a trusted counselor with experience in healthcare regulatory compliance, government investigations, physician contracting, potential violations of fraud and abuse laws, including Stark Law and Anti-Kickback Statute and billing and reimbursement issues.
Lee previously served as Vice President, Chief Compliance Officer for Novant Health, a large healthcare system in the southeast, after moving from the company's legal department where she served as Assistant General Counsel for over a decade. She has also served as Associate General Counsel for North Carolina Baptist Medical Center. In addition to her roles in the healthcare industry, Lee has assisted healthcare clients in a variety of regulatory compliance and corporate governance matters, contract negotiations and business issues. She is a trusted advisor, providing value to clients with practical and efficient solutions.
