Each year at this time we kick off H-1B Cap Season by working with U.S. employers to prepare for registration in the upcoming H-1B Cap Lottery. U.S. employers interested in sponsoring foreign nationals for specialty (professional) occupations have this opportunity only once per year for a limited period. Please join us for a live, 60-minute webinar during which our immigration partners, Fatima Khan and Carlos Ortiz, along with Melinda Potmesil, Counsel, of the Immigration practice group, will provide a detailed overview of the H-1B visa and the annual H-1B cap season ahead of the March 6, 2024 registration opening. They will discuss H-1B eligibility requirements, employer obligations, the new modernization changes, the lottery registration process, petition selection and filing, as well as alternative considerations for those not selected in the lottery. We encourage employers with foreign national employees to attend this session and learn more about the coveted H-1B work visa and lottery process.
