Senator Kit Bond and Thompson Coburn partner Warren Dean co-authored an editorial which was published in the April 5 edition of The Washington Times. In their article, “Using debt ceiling to force a balanced budget,” they propose using the debt-ceiling debate to vote on legislation that would establish a 10-year framework to get the nation’s debt under control.
