Thompson Coburn partner Sharon Rosenberg has been named one of the Up & Coming lawyers in Missouri for 2016.
Missouri Lawyers Weekly bestows the award on attorneys who are 40 or under or in the first 10 years of their legal careers and have done outstanding work in the profession and in their communities.
Over the course of her 12-year career at Thompson Coburn, as well as in her previous position at a premier law firm in Texas, Sharon has worked on major complex and class action litigation for publicly-held Fortune 500 corporations and privately-held businesses across many sectors, including transportation, telecommunications, energy and finance.
Meanwhile, in the community Sharon serves as a board member for Employment Connection, a St. Louis nonprofit focused on breaking down barriers to employment and self-sufficiency for individuals with limited opportunities, including ex-offenders, homeless veterans, high school dropouts, single mothers on welfare, and at-risk youth.
In nominating Sharon, Chairman Tom Minogue emphasized her valuable background in mathematics: “Sharon is a lawyer and litigator with a brilliant mind for numbers, statistics and financial figures. And in several of her most high-profile cases, her embrace of complex financial and damages-related data, together with her high-level strategic thinking, has served as a critical tipping point in the litigation.” A firm client, former member of the judiciary, and local non-profit leader all supported Sharon’s nomination as well.
Sharon and 57 other Up & Coming winners will be honored at an awards luncheon Oct. 7 at the Missouri Athletic Club - Downtown.
