DC Partner Margie Krumholz was recently elected to the Equipment Leasing & Finance Association (ELFA) Board of Directors, which is the association’s decision-making body.
Her three-year term begins this week. ELFA is the trade association for financial services companies and manufacturers in the $1 trillion U.S. equipment finance sector. Margie is an active member of ELFA, serving as co-chair of the Air, Rail and Marine Subcommittee and a former member of the Legal Committee.
Margie’s practice spans more than 30 years representing borrowers, lenders, lessors, and lessees in structuring, negotiating, and closing financing transactions, including leases, leveraged leases, and cross-border transactions. She is also chair of the Maritime Law Association of U.S. Marine Financing Committee, former Chair of its Marine Financing Subcommittee on Coast Guard Documentation and U.S. Citizenship, and former Chair of the Marine Financing Ad Hoc Subcommittee on Recodification of Title 46.
Margie is Managing Partner of the DC office and vice-chair of the firm's Federal Practice Group.
