A group of top-ranking corporate in-house counsel has named Thompson Coburn as one of the top 30 firms in the nation for outstanding client service.
The firm is ranked No. 25 on the list, which is part of the 2017 BTI Client Service A-Team report, compiled by BTI Consulting Group, the leading provider of strategic research to law firms and general counsel.
BTI bases its findings on interviews with more than 330 in-house counsel, who are asked to name — unprompted — the firms that stand out in 17 areas of superior client service, everything from offering innovative approaches to anticipating the client’s needs, to providing exceptional value for the dollar.
As BTI President and Founder Michael Rynowecer told Law360 in its story on the Client Service 30, what these top firms have in common is “a dedication to constant improvement.” “They’re getting better at understanding client service, seeking and using client feedback, and integrating service throughout their firms,” he told Law360.
Thompson Coburn has made multiple appearances on the Client Service 30 list over the last several years. Earlier this year the firm also appeared in BTI’s 2016 Most Recommended Law Firms report as one of the top 25 law firms nationally that are consistently named by general counsel as firms they would recommend to their in-house peers.
