Thompson Coburn partners Greg Mennerick and Kristen Sanocki were recognized by Missouri Lawyers Media (MLM) as part of its 2024 Up & Coming list. The awards highlight young attorneys who are making a positive difference in the practice of law in Missouri and whose outstanding contributions have them on the track for success.
Greg represents clients in mergers and acquisitions and sophisticated securities offerings, and offers advice on the wide range of regulatory and compliance issues affecting public and private companies. Kristen is a proven litigator who consistently goes above and beyond while representing her clients in complex litigation.
In Greg’s Up & Coming honoree profile, he answered the following questions:
What advice do you have for young lawyers? I would encourage young lawyers to find a good mentor and to not be afraid to ask for help, since there’s no substitute for experience.
What’s something that would surprise people about you? My wife (also an attorney) and I have four kids (seven and under), so we have learned to thrive in the chaos.
In Kristen’s Up & Coming honoree profile, she answered the following questions:
What has been your favorite moment as an attorney? Winning a unanimous jury verdict in a breach of contract case was a significant achievement that highlighted the effectiveness of our preparation and strategy. It underscored the impact that hard work can have on the outcome of cases.
Anything else you want people to know about you? I am deeply committed to professional excellence and fostering a collaborative work environment where continuous improvement is encouraged. My approach is strategic and always focused on the broader implications of our work — commitment to our colleagues, our clients, and our community.
