She earned a J.D. from Saint Louis University School of Law, where she graduated magna cum laude and was a Managing Editor of the Saint Louis University Law Journal.
While in law school, Emma served as an intern in the Public Corruption, Healthcare Fraud, and Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Force (OCDETF) divisions of the U.S. Attorney's Office in the Eastern District of Missouri. She was also a legal assistant to the special representative for the Office of Chief Disciplinary Counsel under the supervision of the Supreme Court of Missouri.
