Erin assists attorneys in all areas of the real estate tax appeal process.
This includes, but is not limited to, monitoring client document requests, communicating pertinent information to clients, presenting evidence to Assessing Officials and complying with administrative deadlines. To ensure results, Erin researches comparable properties, income data, recent sales, and selects appropriate third-party appraisers to accurately assess the market value for each property.
She specializes in residential, industrial, commercial, vacant land and farmland parcels. She handles matters before the Cook County Assessor, Board of Review, Property Tax Appeal Board and the collar counties. In addition, Erin assists attorneys in tax incentives and property tax exemption matters. She actively works with other paralegals on the team and assists with special projects.
