Harbor Lights Intake
Matt serves as co-chair of our insurance practice group, guiding policyholders, insurers and insurance professionals on everything from policy placement through the litigation process for disputed claims.
He has drafted insurance policies, worked with regulators and presented insurance concepts to bar groups.
A litigation partner with extensive insurance experience, Matt has successfully identified applicable coverage issues overlooked by others in the industry, fundamentally improving our clients' business outlook. For more than a decade, Matt has scrutinized disputed policy language, drawn upon his extensive knowledge of insurance law and recognized salient facts to craft creative solutions for clients.
When that solution requires litigation, his background as a trial and appellate counsel in a wide variety of business disputes aids him in coverage actions. Matt has successfully litigated complex insurance cases in a variety of state and federal jurisdictions, achieving numerous victories through motion practice, trial and on appeal.
