Thompson Coburn is proud to announce that Clint Hansen, Matt Landwehr, Jeff Masson, Mark Mattingly, Manooher Mofidi, Jennifer Price, and Fred Richards have been elected to partnership in our firm effective January 1, 2011.
Clint Hansen practices in the firm’s Banking and Commercial Finance, Financial Restructuring and Real Estate practice groups. His commercial lending and secured transactions experience includes: Asset-based and secured financing programs, debt restructurings and workouts, equipment leasing, financing and credit transactions, foreclosure and enforcement of creditors' rights, letters of credit, purchase money security arrangements, and trade credit documentation, including credit applications, security agreements, guarantees, notes, invoices and mortgages. Clint is a cum laude graduate of the Valparaiso University School of Law.
Matt Landwehr practices in the firm’s Business Litigation, Banking and Financial Services Litigation, Health Care, and Appellate Litigation areas. His focus is in banking litigation, concentrating on the areas of creditor's rights, lender liability, and disputes involving check collection and check fraud, and other aspects of the Uniform Commercial Code. Matt is a graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia School of Law.
Jeff Masson is a member of the firm’s Business Litigation practice group. The focus of Jeff's practice is on Agriculture, Agribusiness and Ag Biotechnology, areas in which he brings substantial legal and practical, in-the-field experience to bear on behalf of the Firm’s clients. Jeff is a graduate of the Southern University School of Law, and holds an M.S. in Plant Pathology and Crop Physiology, as well as a B.S. in Plant and Soil Systems from Louisiana State University.
Mark Mattingly has practiced in the Thompson Coburn’s Business Litigation group since joining the firm in 2005 after spending four years in the United States Army Judge Advocate General Corps. Mark is a magna cum laude graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign School of Law and also holds a B.S. from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
Manooher Mofidi practices in the firm’s Product Liability area. Prior to joining Thompson Coburn in 2000, he clerked for the U.S. Department of Justice, Immigration and Naturalization Service and for Colorado Court of Appeals. Manoo earned his law degree from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law and holds a Ph.D. from the University of Denver Josef Korbel School of International Studies.
Jennifer Price practices in the firm’s Real Estate group where she has significant experience handling a wide variety of real estate transactions including purchase and sale transactions, leases, sale-leasebacks, zoning matters, loan transactions, easements and development issues. Jennifer also has experience handling real estate matters in connection with mergers and acquisitions, estate planning, forming and restructuring entities, acquiring and holding real estate, and seeking architectural licensing. Jennifer is a magna cum laude graduate of Saint Louis University School of Law.
Fred Richards practices in the firm’s Real Estate group. He has significant experience representing owners/operators of commercial, industrial and special purpose properties as well as national hotel chains. He also has a wealth of experience in bringing real estate tax appeals before the various assessors and Boards of Review in Illinois and other jurisdictions for national corporations and hospitality corporations. Fred earned his law degree from the University of Notre Dame Law School.
