Our transit attorneys assist with the procurement and acquisition of bus and rail vehicles, including innovative vehicles from international suppliers. This work includes preparation of requests for proposals and other procurement documents, negotiation of purchase agreements, advising on Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS) and Cargo Preference compliance, plant audits and due diligence reviews, pre-award and post-delivery audits, cost and price analyses, Buy America compliance and Altoona bus testing. We also have assisted in the purchases of advanced design Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) electric vehicles technology and Double Deck vehicles.
