We counsel transit clients on state and federal regulatory requirements, particularly those imposed on grantees of federal funds from the Federal Transit Administration (FTA). Our attorneys represent transit agencies on a wide range of regulatory issues, including Buy America compliance, DBE requirements, Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) issues and other related National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) matters, Inspector General audits and investigations, ADA requirements, and charter and school bus regulations. We have in-depth knowledge and understanding of FTA’s various grant programs, grant processing procedures, the apportionment and allocation of funds, and congressional appropriations and program authorization issues.
