Our attorneys are dealmakers and problem solvers who provide practical, industry-driven legal advice that addresses each client’s unique real estate needs. Working on a national scale, we help clients respond to and capitalize on the recent “boom” in commercial real estate activity, which has prompted institutional owners and users of commercial real estate to move forward aggressively in addressing pent-up real estate needs.
Tapping our diverse practice and industry experience and our knowledge of the commercial lending markets, we frequently advise clients on the entire lifecycle of a real estate transaction. At each step in the process, we put ourselves in the shoes of our clients and pursue collaborative, mutually-beneficial solutions led by their priorities for a deal. We truly care about the outcome of a transaction, and are honored that many of our institutional clients look to us for the management of their entire real estate portfolios.

Our diverse client roster includes real estate lenders and capital equity market providers, and Fortune 500 companies, as well as a variety of institutional business clients. We advise these clients on real estate transactions of all sizes and complexities based on the East Coast, West Coast, and nearly all states in between.
We tackle the issues common to every transaction — land use regulations, environmental concerns, tax implications and financing — as well as more specific issues, such as state and federal economic incentives and green building considerations.
Depending on the needs of our clients, we frequently partner with our public finance, tax credits, environmental, corporate and tax colleagues, offering an experienced interdisciplinary approach that provides our clients with timely, cost effective-solutions. We can also consult with our litigation colleagues on the best way to handle disputed construction contracts, leases or other business disputes.
